TROIA E BOVINO: One day dedicated to the finding of two typical medieval villages in Puglia in the area of Monti Dauni. Tour starts in the town of Troia, a perfect junction of cultures and rupture from Eastern Roman empire and Western one, across the ancient Via Traiana which lift up the majestic and strong Cathedral ( XI – XII sec.) riches of symbolism in the rose window unique of its kind. The tour includes an itinerary to discovery all the architectural beauties and wine and food specialties: you’ll see the Cathedral (XI-XII sec.), the ancient village called “Fra due Terre” (Corso Umberto I°) until to church of San Basilio Magno (X-XI sec). Tour runs to one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, Bovino. You will have a walking between the suggesting alleys of the village and a visit at the Castello Ducale, the “torre a cavaliere”, Diocesan Museum, the Cathedral and at the end, a lunch in a typical small restaurant in the city center.
